The factors influencing delivery logistics in rural areas from the perspective of providers and users are critical to logistics performances. In order to ensure nationwide supply in an economically, ecologically and socially justifiable manner, it is particularly important for rural regions to develop reliable delivery (and pick-up) concepts and to constantly drive them forward. In this study, factors influencing this are identified and substantiated by quantitative data. The present study to suggests to replace traditional concepts, it is es- sential to portray the circumstances of the region under investigation and to examine them for possible synergies.
The thesis was carried out in cooperation with a company, which will be presented in the course of the thesis as well as the concrete reference to internal company projects.
