The study investigates the features and determinants of computer, information service, communication service and royalties and license fees service between the European Union, ASEAN, NAFTA, NICs1, NICs2LA and other main countries from 2003 to 2007. Empirical results first show that the economic size of exporting countries has a significant impact to information, communications services and patent licensing services exports. This implies that home market effect exists. Secondly, the coefficients of remoteness reveal that the exports of information, communication services and patent license in EU significantly depend on the global trade partners. Third, market potential has a significantly positive impact of trade in services while spatial crowding out effect or spatial spillover effects also occurs.
