Higher correlated color temperature (CCT) lighting condition induces higher arousal level. The smallest increment of significantly increasing arousal level is 2000K. However, there are not much research about dynamic lighting. In this experiment, using LED color mixing as dynamic lighting source, we can make different average correlated color temperatures and different correlated color temperature variation ranges and compare to static lighting with the same average correlated color temperatures. We found the significant alertness range between dynamic and static lighting. Coefficient of Variation (CV) is a better index than variation range to compare with different average correlated color temperature. Besides, dynamic lighting performs better than static lighting in mood.
