With the rapid development of the global semiconductor industry, IC packaging technology is constantly innovating, and the demand for vacuum tips is also increasing. The traditional manufacturing method of vacuum tips relies on numerous molds and a long production process, resulting in increased costs and difficulty in quickly adapting to the diverse needs of the market.Company G's market opportunities in the semiconductor industry mainly come from: the continued growth of the semiconductor industry, the diversified development of IC packaging technology, and the increased demand for small quantities, variety and rapid delivery of vacuum tips. However, Company G's technology gap in the semiconductor industry is mainly reflected in the lack of technology to quickly manufacture a small number of diverse vacuum tips and the lack of technology to reduce production costs. This study takes Company G as an example to explore the research and development strategy of vacuum tips products that meet the small and diverse needs of the current market. First, analyze G Company’s dynamic competitive environment and market opportunities in the semiconductor industry through PEST analysis and value proposition map. Then, use strategic tools such as SWOT/TOWS analysis, five forces analysis, dynamic competition analysis, BCG matrix and product life cycle to conduct an in-depth analysis of G Company's internal and external competitive situation and technology gaps. Finally, a product development strategy that is consistent with Company G's value proposition is proposed to help it gain a competitive advantage in the semiconductor industry.
