台灣高速鐵路的建設可有效達到節省通往各縣市的通行時間,雖然高鐵速度相較於其他地上大眾運輸工具都來的快,相對地高鐵票價也高出許多,有關高速鐵路的票價訂定,目前尚未有完整的理論依據可支撐民眾對於票價訂定的認同度,及如何客觀的評估票價收費標準,故研究方法尚須應用理論模式驗證高鐵票價的合理性。因此,藉由大數據的科技發展及近年來電腦計算處理能力和可視化技術的提高,可建構出長程運輸系統的時空圖分析模型,茲以研究台灣高速鐵路所帶來的時空壓縮效應。本研究分為兩大部分,於第一部份中,首先透過多元尺度分析,產出基於高鐵於各站點間行車時間的相對擬合空間後,再利用地理圖資資訊系統將各站點間相對位置作視覺化的呈現,產出時空圖。第二部份,本研究考慮營運者之基本營運開銷成本、旅客知覺成本及時間成本,建構出一個變量票價模型。除此之外,為呈現變量票價模型之應用方法,本研究針對目前台灣高鐵之營運狀況作案例探討,提出模型解釋及與目前台灣高鐵票價作比較,進而提出研究建議及未來研究發展。


The Taiwan high-speed rail (HSR) considerably reduces the travel time from the north to south of Taiwan, or vice versa. Compared with other modes of public land transportation, the HSR is faster but more expensive to ride. The pricing of HSR tickets has gained limited public approval because it lacks justification, indicating the need for a theoretical approach to objectively justify the ticket prices. With the continuing improvements in big data technologies, the computational capability of computers, and visualization techniques, it has become increasingly feasible to construct a time–space model of a long-distance transportation system, which can be used to study the time–space compression of the Taiwan HSR. The first part of this study used multidimensional scaling to chart fitting coordinates based on travel time for different combinations of departure/destination HSR stations, and a geographic information system to generate a time–space map of the relative locations between different combinations of departure/destination HSR stations. The second part constructed a variable ticket-pricing model accounting for the operating, passenger-perceived, and time costs of the HSR, which was used to investigate its current operations. Moreover, the model’s explanatory power over the prices of HSR tickets was assessed, and HSR ticket prices were compared. Recommendations for future research have been proposed accordingly.
