In today's turbulent global market environment, the relationship between enterprises and their supply chain partners is increasingly crucial. Any disruption at any node along the supply chain can trigger the bullwhip effect, affecting the overall stability of the supply chain. To address these challenges, enterprises leverage information technology capabilities to share real-time supply chain information with partners, enhancing visibility and responsiveness. Through information technology capabilities, enterprises can improve the mobility of supply chain resources, and effectively adjust and reconfigure them to reinforce the chain's resilience against market uncertainties. From the perspective of dynamic capability theory, this study aims to explore the relationship between digital resilience and resource reconfiguration, and moreover improve supply chain resilience.
This data for this study is collected from Taiwan's top 1,000 manufacturing industries, as selected by Common Wealth Magazine in 2022. The research results indicate that: (1) Dynamic data and information processing capabilities has a significantly positive impact on supply chain disassembly capabilities; information technology infrastructure flexibility has a significantly positive impact on supply chain disassembly capabilities; information technology integration has a significantly positive impact on supply chain disassembly capabilities. (2) Dynamic data and information processing capabilities has a significantly positive impact on supply chain recombination capabilities; information technology integration has a significantly positive impact on supply chain recombination capabilities. (3) Information technology infrastructure flexibility has a significantly positive impact on supply chain mobility capabilities. (4) The supply chain disassembly capabilities, supply chain recombination capabilities, and supply chain mobility capabilities in resource reconfiguration all have a significantly positive impact on supply chain resilience.
