  • 摘 要
    本論文探討微型晶片天線的設計與製造方法,其中主要是針對 GPS (1575MHz)與GSM (900MHz/1800MHz)頻帶之微型晶片天線。在設計的部份有三個歩驟:(1)應用電磁數值模擬軟體來建立微型晶片天線之架構並模擬之;(2)分析天線之相關參數;(3)實測微型晶片天線,並比較模擬與量測之結果,以驗證天線設計的正確性。至於在晶片天線製造的部份則是採用嵌入式射出成型技術,其作法為:先將天線導體線路製作於基板上,再使用介電複合材料以嵌入式射出成型封裝,最後將晶片天線個體以鑽石機切割取下,如此即完成微型晶片天線之製作。此外,本論文亦使用晶片天線來組成陣列天線,其中設計與製作了線型與方型陣列天線,可應用於2.4GHz ISM頻段。


    Abstract
    This thesis studies the method for designing and manufacturing tiny chip antennas. Particularly, this method is applied to develop the tiny chip antennas for applications in GPS (1.575MHz) and GSM (900/1800MHz) bands. To design the chip antennas, three steps are followed: (1) establishing the structures of the tiny chip antennas by using electromagnetic numerical simulation software packages, and then performing simulations, (2) analyzing the control parameters of the antennas, (3) measuring the antennas to compare with the simulations for verifying the designs. As for the manufacture part, an insert molding technology is applied. First, the radiating structures of the antenna are fabricated on a substrate. Secondly, a composite dielectric material is attached with the substrate by applying the insert molding technology. Finally, tiny chip antennas are obtained by using a cutting machine to segment the molded substrate with a diamond knife. In additions, the tiny chip antennas are used as the elements of the antenna array. Linear and square array antennas are designed for applications in the 2.4GHz ISM band.
