  • 本研究旨在探討企業在面對外在環境的科技更替與市場需求變動時,如何重新檢視本身的競爭優勢與劣勢,掌握產業發展的趨勢,發現新的價值和需求,適時調整營運策略以及資源分配,以期永續經營甚至成為百年企業。透過個案分析的方式,研究一家擁有125年歷史的電子巨擘P公司的發展歷程,並深入探討該公司如何運用創新管理來提升企業的競爭力,又如何訂定公司的經營與競爭策略,在經歷了125年的科技與市場需求的變遷,依然是全世界的領導電子企業之一。
    藉由P公司的個案研究與探討,希望能提供讀者或台灣企業經營者對於創新管理有更進一步的認識,並且在企業經營的實務和轉型策略的發展制定上有所助益。特別是ICT產業,現今面臨著諸多挑戰,不論是外在破壞式創新產品或技術對原有市場帶來的衝擊,或是與既有競爭者愈趨激烈的競爭,再再挑戰著經營者如何從變動的市場與需求,提供客戶所需要的價值或者未被滿足的需求,並訂定競爭策略以提升公司的競爭力與獲利能力。


    The objective of this study is intended to explore how a corporation could comprehend its competitive advantage through innovation management and develop its transformation strategy accordingly in response to the dynamic and challenging business environment. To become an ever green and growing corporation, it matters for the corporation to be able to firstly identify the value required by the customers or un-satisfied need, and develop its business strategy accordingly. By studying the case of P-Company, that is one of the greatest electronic companies in the world with more than 125 years history, the reader will learn about how P-Company has accomplished its achievement in the industry through its innovation management and business development strategy.
    Sincerely hope the reader will benefit from this case study with advanced learning about Innovation Management, and serves as another reference while developing its business transformation strategy. Especially for those corporations in the Internet, Computer, and Telecommunication industries, the challenge is becoming severer, either because of the interruptive technology or solution that de-value the current products/solutions they currently provide, or because of the increasing competition from current rivals in the same industry that leads to decreasing profit margin. It matters for those corporations to revisit its value proposition against customers’ demand, and respond with innovative and distinguished products/solutions that satisfies the surging requirement or un-satisfied need.
