影像處理是近年來很熱門的研究課題,應用的層面也十分的廣泛,不論在科學、工業、國防、娛樂、通訊以及醫學等各領域都佔有相當重要的地位。台灣近年土石流的情況每年都愈來愈嚴重,大部分皆起因於山區樹林的濫墾濫伐,因此我們的目標是利用各種影像處理的技術,發展出一套自動化的山區植生變遷偵測系統。只需將不同年度相同位置的兩張彩色影像透過影像處理程序,便可將該區域在這兩個年度間有變遷的區域定位出來,提供給相關管理單位一個查看的依據。由於不同年度所拍攝的照片有許多問題,例如:天候影響、亮度影響,甚至拍攝相機不同導致色彩上的偏差等等,都是在分析時所必須克服的問題。


Image processing has been a popular research topic in recent years and it is in widespread use, moreover, it plays an important role in many kinds of category like science, industry, national defense, communication and medicine. Mudflows and landslides become more and more serious in Taiwan. Mostly, mudflows and landslides are caused by cultivating farms and deforestation in areas where soil conservation should be maintained. In this thesis, the method proposed by us aims at utilizing various image processing tools and techniques to develop an automatic vegetation change detection system for mountain area which is capable of locating the change region based on two particular years aerial images but the same place of mountain area. Then the system provides a guideline to the relevant management. The photos taken by two particular years cause some problems. For examples: the weather influence, the brightness influence and the color difference caused by two different cameras are the problems which we need to overcome.
