本研究旨在深入探討建築系畢業生的就業選擇,並研究這些不同職業選擇與其人格特質、領域興趣和領域專長之間的關聯性。透過文獻回顧、問卷調查和研究方法,收集了來自不同建築職業領域的數據加以分析並歸類,證實與所提出的研究假設結果相符亦或是有所差異。提供建築系應屆畢業生就業參考的方向、給予大專院校建築系課程規劃的成效回饋以及建築相關產業選才和人才培育的參考指標及指導建議。
本研究採用問卷調查法,以台科大建築系畢業生為調查對象,總共發放 130 份問卷,有效問卷 93 份,有效回收率 71.5%。統計方法採用次數分配與百分比、卡方檢定、單因子變異數分析、區別分析、皮爾森積差相關,獲得以下結論:
一、建築系畢業生人格特質之親和性與就業選擇有顯著差異。
二、建築系畢業生人格特質之開放學習性與領域興趣之設計領域有顯著差異。
三、建築系畢業生領域興趣與就業選擇具有高度關聯性。
四、建築系畢業生領域興趣與領域專長具有高度關聯性。
五、領域專長與人格特質、就業選擇此兩項因子均無顯著差異。
本研究建議後續研究者可將研究對象的範圍擴大至全台的建築系畢業生,讓研究母群體的數據增加,以便瞭解整體建築產業的人才分佈情形。其次針對其他會影響就業選擇的因子納入研究內容,使影響建築系畢業生就業選擇的因子更全面及多元,讓建築系在學生可以多方評估及考量自身的因素,選擇其適合的工作類型。最後,可以將研究總結成一套完整的預測機制系統,給予面臨選擇職涯道路的建築系應屆畢業生,一個完善且適合的就業指引方向,此一系統將極具研究價值及貢獻。

The study aims to delve into the employment choices of architecture graduates and examine the correlation between these different employment choices and their personality traits, field interests and field expertise. Through literature review, questionnaire survey and research methods, data from different construction career fields were collected, analyzed and classified to confirm whether the results were consistent with or different from the proposed research hypothesis. It provides employment reference directions for fresh graduates from the Department of Architecture, feedback on the effectiveness of curriculum planning for the Department of Architecture in colleges and universities, and reference indicators and guidance for talent selection and talent cultivation in architecture-related industries.
The study adopted the questionnaire survey method, with graduates from the Department of Architecture of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology as the survey subjects. Total of 130 questionnaires were issued, and 93 questionnaires were valid and the effective response rate was 71.5%. The data was analyzed by frequency distribution and percentage, Chi-square test, one-way ANOVA, discriminant analysis and Pearson’s product-moment correlation. The conclusions are as following:
1. There is a significant difference between the agreeableness personality traits and employment choices of architecture graduates.
2. There is a significant difference between the open-learning personality traits of architecture graduates and the field interests in design field.
3. There is a high correlation between the field interests of architecture graduates and their employment choices.
4. There is a high correlation between the field interests and field expertise of architecture graduates.
5. There is no significant difference on field expertise with the two factors of personality traits and employment choices.
The study suggests that future researchers could expand the scope of the study to include architecture graduates from all over Taiwan, thereby increasing the dataset to better understand the overall talent distribution in the architecture industry. Secondly, incorporating other factors that may influence employment choices into the research content would make the factors affecting the employment choices of architecture graduates more comprehensive and diverse, allowing students in architecture programs to assess and consider various factors in selecting their suitable job types. Finally, summarizing the research into a complete predictive mechanism system would provide recent architecture graduates with a comprehensive and suitable career guidance direction when facing career choices. Such a system would be highly valuable and contributory.
