According to the statistics of the Ministry of Education, the dropout rate of college students is increasing year by year. To improve this situation, V Tinto (1993) proposed to improve student satisfaction related to it. On the other hand, Demaris, Kritsonis (2008) and Vincent Tinto (1997) mentioned that the classroom learning experience is very important for college students, which is the core of the school. Therefore, this study tends to find out the important factors related to the classroom experience and student satisfaction of freshmen.
The sample was filled out by students from 54 universities in Taiwan. The total number of questionnaires was 40,324, the number of local students was 38,645, and the number of international students was 1,679. For this time, 38,645 local students were studied. This study refers to the classroom definition of Fassinger (1995), which is divided into three aspects: peer interaction quality, teacher quality, and student quality. The final results of this study show that these classroom experiences are important factors of student satisfaction in the first year.
