每個國家發展出共享公寓的時間與原因都不同，而台灣則是在2014年起開始有共享公寓的出現，台灣興起此種居住方式的原因眾多，其主要是因為人們缺乏社交機會、房屋價格高漲、租屋品質參差不齊這三項原因，共享公寓在台灣出現至今5年仍不斷有擴張的趨勢，而這樣新型態的居住方式也被越來越多人所知道，主要的租賃者為18~35歲之間的年輕人。
由於現今存在於台灣的共享公寓普遍以提升生活品質與促進社交為主打，吸引人們住進共享公寓，故本研究將針對共享公寓的主要社交場所-公共空間來進行使用後評估，採用問卷調查法與深度訪談法來探討居住於共享公寓的人們對於公共空間的使用情況與態度，藉以探討公共空間是否能夠促進社交活動的進行，以及公共空間是否產生使用上的衝突，依據研究結果提出建議以提升日後共享公寓的生活品質。
研究結果顯示人們最常因為他人使用廚房與廁所的方式而感到困擾或不開心，其原因為衛生問題與使用時間重疊，但是這樣的負面情緒卻沒有直接影響到公共空間的整體滿意度，居住於共享公寓的人們對其公共空間的整體滿意度仍相當高，經過訪談與問卷統計後也證實公共空間確實發揮了良好的社交功能，也有很高比例的居住者有意願續約，顯見居住於共享公寓的人們多半都能夠接受這種新型態的居住模式，且對其抱持著正面的態度。

There is a tome that each country has the need and reason to develop
Co-Living, so does Taiwan. Taiwan’s Co-Living started in 2014, due to many
reasons. The main reasons are: people cannot have an opportunity to communicate
with each other, price increase in the rental house and the issue of the variable
quality of the rental house. That is why Co-Living has expanded over the past five
years, and the age of eighteen to thirty-five see it as an option The Co-Living in
Taiwan is focused on improving the quality of life and promoting social
interaction. Shared space is the main place of communication in Co-Living.
Therefore attracting people to live in. In this paper, I used a questionnaire and
in-depth interview investigate to examine there using situation, These tools are
used to investigate whether shared space can improve communications, and
resolve conflict in there shared space. Additionally, with this research, we can
make a suggestion to improve their quality of life in the Co-Living. In this
research, I found different ways of using the kitchen space and restroom. In some
case, it made people feel unhappy, because of hygienic. The other reason is that
many people want to use it at the same time. However, these reason had no
influence on the satisfaction of shared space. It still got a high score on
satisfaction. According to this study, shared space is useful for communication,
and people have a positive attitude and they identify this new type of residence, as
a great option for living. That is why a high percentage of residents want to renew
their lease of rental.
