  • The Telecommunication Industry is very important in the economy of every nation. The situation of Vietnam’s telecommunication industry) has rapidly developed during the last decade of nineties and first few years of twentieth century.
    To expand market for Vietnam Telecommunication Company, International Strategy is one of the ways to help them can find new market? In this research the author mainly focused on Viettel Group, a big company in Vietnam. Viettel Group runs its business in many different sectors but its main operation is in telecommunications
    The purpose of this thesis is to analyze about Viettel Group, one of the first company of Vietnam expand their market to foreign market in telecommunications sector. They are not only successful in Cambodia and Laos market, but also started its business in Haiti, Peru, etc. This thesis paper also analyzes of Laos’ telecommunications industry, competitor, opportunities and challenges for plays which may be faced in near future from its competitors.
    The case study focused mainly on Viettel’s international strategy and shows the key success factors when they expand their market. At last but not least, of this research paper, it shows the major conclusions and recommendations. The main conclusions are divided into two parts: International Strategy and Strategic Competitiveness. At the recommendation’s portion we show some suggestions that can be helpful for taking the decision in future
